Moreover, it will provide better fiscal management and efficient financial operations for the welfare of Jammu & Kashmir employees. Also, it allows the government to keep track of its employee & their records online in a systematic manner.
Also, this has reduced the paperwork and has made the work less hectic as it is an IT-based tool. Under this online platform, users can use various software like Beams (budget estimation, allocation, and monitoring system), CPIS (centralized personnel information system), and capital network and payment system. And the employee does not need to visit the salary department or other concerned departments to get their salary slip and bill payment. However, it will make government work transparent and make it easier to manage the workload. Therefore, this payment system also facilitates users to prepare Bonuses, Leave encashment bills, DA Arrears, Arrears, etc. The main motive behind launching this portal is to provide online services for submitting employee payroll and information. It is managed by the Finance Department of the Jammu & Kashmir Government and has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC). This is an online payment system that is meant for the Government Department employees of J&K. The Government of Jammu & Kashmir State has launched the JKPaySys Employee Portal and which is also known as Jammu Kashmir Pay System.
